Throughout 2013 we helped Infiniti Red Bull Racing strengthen their online marketing channels in a number of ways. While the four times world champions were recruiting a new digital manager, Ideas Made supplied strategic advice, online content ideas and digital management support in the interim. We then worked alongside the new digital manager in-house and Red Bull’s digital platform development partner, supplying the brief, strategy, information architecture, user experience, design, project management and testing all the way through to the delivery of their new website. We had a project manager working in house and at the appropriate time we were able to scale up that team with an information architect, creative and UX designer.
A new content hub for the 4 x Formula One World Champions
We were set the enviable task of creating a new website by the brains behind Infiniti Red Bull Racing – the most technologically advanced racing team.
The concept for the site was to create a hub for the vast amount of incredible content the team produce, telling the Infiniti Red Bull Racing story at the same time as entertaining their diverse and loyal fans, capturing it all on one page. The end result also offers a deeper level of behind the scenes content as well as supporting partners, sponsors and the media. The result is a responsive, interactive online ‘magazine’ experience full of up-to-date news, video, photo galleries, team quotes, race info and much much more.
For us at IM it was a great privilege to work at the factory in Milton Keynes and get a glimpse into the incredible amount of work that goes on behind the scenes, running a Formula One team, an experience we hope to re-live again, sometime soon.
